The catcher in the rye (chapter 7)

Holden starts talking to Ackley after his fight with Stradlater. This can mean that probably he is seen Stradlater more as a friend he can trust now. Ackley wants to know why Holden and Stradlater fought, Holden just tells him that he doesn't want to stay with Stradlater which he is mad at him. Holden is thinking if something happen between Jane and Stradlater, this is a prove that he likes her even though he hasn't said it. Holden doesn't want to be at Pencey no more he feels lone and sad. When he leaves Pencey he feels sad, this is the moment when we realized Holden has feelings and can care of somethings.

The catcher in the rye (chapter 6)

Stradlater returns from his date with Jane, Holden was curious on what happened but he didn't wanted to ask. Than both of them started to argue about the date Stradlater had with Jane. The discussion was so intense that they ended up fighting. This shows that Holden likes Jane. However Holden lost, they also argued about the composition Holden wrote for Stradlater. He wasn't happy with the composition Holden did and he told him. Personally i believe that both like Jane and this is going to cause a conflict between them two. At the end Holden describes himself as a pacifist person something I'm not sure about because before he said he was a liar.

The catcher in the rye (chapter 5)

In this chapter Holden tells us what they have for dinner on saturday's night. They had steak and they do this in school because parents usually visit school on Sunday that way parents can have a good impression of the school. We can tell that Holden is right about this, this shows that he is a smart guy. After that Holden describes that his friend Brossard were planing to go and eat a hamburger and probably see a movie. They agreed to invite Ackley, which shows that Holden and his friend are not to mean because no one seem to care about Ackley. When they returned Holden started working on Stradlater's composition. Here is where we figure out that his brother Allie died. Personally this helped me understand probably why Holden has this weird attitude.

The catcher in the rye (chapter 4)

In this chapter Holden discovers that Ackley and Stradlater are not to different. He tells us that Stradlater was more like a secret slob in his personal habits. This shows us that even people how seem to be different can have some things in common. Later Stradlater asked Holden to write a composition for english. Holden doesn't gave him an answer, which shows he was not to enthusiastic about it. Later on Holden and Stradlater started talking about Stradlater's date. Holden discover that it was a girl he knew pretty well. That girl was Jane Gallagher she used to live next door close to Holden's house. This is important because it the first time we can really tell that Holden cares or is interested in someone. Probably it was because he likes that girl we really don't know.

The catcher in the Rye (chapter 3)

In this chapter Holden starts saying that he is the most terrific liar we will see in our lives. He probably says this because he wants to confuse us about his real personality. He tells us that when he told old Spencer he was going to the gym to pick up his equipment he lied to him. Holdem decided not to go the game this show that he is not someone who enjoys company. Than he describes two guys that go to Pencey with him one of them is Ackley and Stradlater. He says that no one seems to like Ackley because he doesn't brush his teeth. Stradlater was the opposite he took good care of himself he was more like a lady's man. However he didn't seem to enjoy the company of both of them.

ALL THAT DAVID COPPERFIELD KIND OF CRAP

In the beginning of the story the main character doesn't want to give to much details about himself. Then he starts talking about a school he went to which is Pencey in Pennsylvania. He describes how people think the school is good. Then he says that Pencey is not actually the school people believe it is. Later on we discover that his name is Holden, we discover his name when he visits the Spencer's. When he talks to Mr. Spencer his history teacher we can figure out that Holden doesn't seem to be interested in school. Later on we know that he failed four out of his five subjects, he only passed English. When it tells us that Holden was thinking in where do the ducks go when the lagon is frozen? We can relate this with him because he is like a duck when he finds himself in trouble he probably doesn't know where to go.

Music as literature

I do believe that music is literature both share some similarities. One of them is that both can be used to tell a message, idea, or a feeling. It depends which type of music we are talking about. Not all the music is the same, it's like literature a novel and a poem are different but at a same time they have things in similar. Literature is written works (such as poems, plays, and novels) that are considered to be very good and to have lasting importance. Music is also similar is used for common purposes. Both are used to help us discover the good things of life and to enjoy it. Literature and music can make us appreciate life.

Racism

Racism is the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. I'm interested in this topic because i have seen racism around our schools, cities, communities and also in my own life. I believe that is our responsibility to prevent racism, we have to see other individuals as humans just like us. The best way to learn about this problem is to study our history, that could help us understand more about this topic. Racism only causes, violence, segregation, hate and any negative things you can imagine just remember that you can't never expect something good of racism. Also remember that we have the power to change our thoughts and act on a way that will benefit our community.
